At Buck’s Kennels, doggy daycare is all about fun, friendship, and peace of mind. We have two large outdoor fenced-in playing yards where dogs can enjoy fresh air and exercise during their Daycare stay. Daycare is a fun, social experience where dogs play together in supervised playgroups, giving dogs the chance to exercise, socialize, and burn off energy in a safe and stimulating environment. Dogs will enjoy both indoor, climate-controlled areas and outdoor play spaces throughout the day. Whether your pup loves to run and play or prefers a more relaxed pace, our experienced staff ensures every dog enjoys their day to the fullest. It’s the perfect way to keep your furry friend happy, active and well-cared-for while you’re away.

Your dog’s safety is our top priority, which is why we have safety protocols in place, including full walls, certified canine coaches, pet-friendly cleaning supplies, soundproofing, UV lights and iWave units in the ductwork to kill airborne bacteria, climate-controlled environments, compressed rubber flooring and separate HVACs to maintain fresh air circulation.

DAYCARE REQUIREMENTS

Daycare is scheduled in advance to assure space is available for proper staffing, and if there’s open space, all drop-ins or day-of appointments will incur a $5.00 fee.
LATE FEE of $15 for any pickups that are outside of the business hours past 6:00 PM, and at 6:30 PM, your dog will be put up for boarding.
CANCELLATIONS for Daycare must be made 24 hours before your appointment. Failure to call and cancel within this time frame will result in a charge on your account for the full amount of service or a package credit deduction.

PLEASE NOTE: Daycare is not available on federally recognized holidays.

Enrollment is EASY!

Fill out our registration form to get started.
We will schedule an appointment. Your pet will start the day, so a team member can evaluate your pup’s social behavior, ensuring your pup is safe around other dogs and that those dogs are safe as well.
The staff will share the results with you (evaluation is $45/dog with a full day of group play). Please visit our Forms & Guidelines page for more information on Daycare Guidelines.

Doggy Daycare Schedule

Open – Noon: Supervised open-play time. This includes playing with other dogs, running around in our yard (weather permitting) or indoor arena, etc.
Noon – 2 p.m.: Relaxing naptime. Each pup is provided with some well-deserved nap time in a home-style crate, making sure they feel comfortable in their own space. During this time, we also provide lunch and medications (if specified by the owner). We also clean the play areas before afternoon playtime. During naptime, our team will be closely monitoring the pups and will give them extra breaks (if needed).
2 p.m. – Close: Supervised open-play time. Having open play before you pick up your pup will ensure your pup is happy, calm and has gotten the most out of their day at Buck’s Kennels.

Our team also provides our first-time doggy daycare friends with a Pawgress Report. This will detail how your dog behavior during the day, who they made friends with and how well they interacted with our team and the other pups in daycare. We will also provide our regular clients with updates on their dog’s behaviors and temperament.
